Infineon Technologies Italia, founded in 1999, is a legally independent subsidiary with headquarter located in Milano, 100% owned by worldwide operating semiconductors manufacturer Infineon Technologies AG.

In Infineon Italia headquarters Sales Support activities are performed while its two Development Centres are established competence centers within the Infineon Research and Development global network.

Infineon Technologies Italia employs more than 200 highly educated and skilled professionals. The research and development center located in Padova, employs around 160 engineers and researchers developing semiconductor products mainly for automotive applications.

The research and development center located in Pavia, employing around 30 engineers and researchers is developing semiconductor products mainly for industrial applications.
During its 15 years lifetime more than 300 products have been developed for the benefit of Infineon Group and more than 270 patent proposals have been filed.

Infineon Italy will participate to the virtual component qualification task with focus on the Electromagnetic emissions (EME) generated by DC-DC converters to define a methodology to enable a short development cycle for the finalization of a reference application design.
