Headquarted in Leipzig, eccenca GmbH was founded in 2013 as a spin-off from Leipzig University’s Institute for Applied Informatics. eccenca’s next generation data management solutions are driving automation and rationalization for data integration, analytics and data driven processes.
eccenca GmbH provides data management solutions based on Semantic Web, Linked Data and Semantic Data Lakes technologies. eccenca is committed to both – scientific excellence and a focus on the translation of technology in sustainable, marketable solutions. eccenca is a leader in semantic data integration and data lifting and has published the supply chain 4.0 capability development model based on its long-standing experience in working with various parts of the automotive and general industry supply chains. eccenca is also active in several linked data and vocabulary initiatives such as MobiVoc, SCORVoc and the Industrial Data Space (IDS).
With the product eccenca Corporate Memory and eccenca Corporate Memory SYNC, eccenca offers mature and market-leading technology platforms, which represent an excellent basis for highly successful partner and customer relationships. Companies such as Audi, Bombardier, Bosch, Continental and Daimler use eccenca’s advanced technology as standardized architecture building blocks in enterprise data and semantic technology platforms.
By turning strings into things, eccenca is creating meaningful and machine interpretable knowledge graphs that allow the integrative interpretation of previously siloed data across the enterprise or even throughout value networks.
eccenca's role is to provide software and methodology for semantic data representation, integration and synchronization. Furthermore, eccenca will enhance the SCORVoc vocabulary and utilize these building blocks in a jointly developed use case with Infineon on lead time based dynamic pricing.
eccenca will provide to the project tools and methodology for dataset and vocabulary management as well as dataset synchronization. Its solutions will play an integral role in the profiling, validation and semantic enrichment of data streams and datasets. Eccenca will furthermore develop and provide a enhanced version of the SCORVoc vocabulary, a vocabulary which represents the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) standard. This will be utilized in the realization of a prototype on lead time based dynamic pricing.
